    Port Tanger was born of memories and longing for faraway places, an invocation of the impact that comes from experiencing new sites, people, and cultures. How those impressions build into a design lexicon that shapes a point of view, and manifests into the objects that make up the collections. The more constant influence is the in the individuals that make up the Port Tanger family, near and far flung, their histories, and their reflections. Each frame takes the shape of those combined perceptions, which may be what accounts for the poetry found in the line.
