Les Chroniques Purple

In 2013, the ‘Les Chroniques Purple’ project, a collaborative effort spearheaded by Elein Fleiss, was published every day online for a period of exactly one year, with its 49 invited authors – artists, photographers, writers and poets—producing more than 400 texts and works in that time. Published now in book form, the texts, along with drawings and images, are arranged chronologically, one for each day of the year. The result is a sort of journal wherein the process became more important than the result, the windows into everyday observations, personal occurrences and recurring themes that its various authors experience like scattered fragments of reality and dreams.
