Vada Cicada Eyewear, Garnet/Garnet

This special series from Vada is from their Tokio, Texas eyewear collection, celebrating juxtapositions of geometry, jazz, feminine and masculine. The Cicada group is a butterfly square frame named for the insect native to both Japan and Texas. The shapes take their cue from the personal eyewear style of Elsa Perretti, inspired by shape and scale. The series features all 18k gold-tone details: 5-barrel rivet hinges, double wing-tip temples, and engraving. The arms include 18k gold rivets designed to hold Vada's gold chain retainers, making these eyewear and jewelry at once. Handmade in Japan in micro-batches with organic cellulose acetate. Unisex.
